This Privacy Policy describes how Fun Byte Technology Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data submitted through the MaidInfo.SG Agency Portal, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
By using the Portal, your agency and all associated staff members consent to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Purpose of Collection
- Portal Operation — Managing profiles, staff, and agency settings.
- AI Features — Processing data to power profile parsing, search, and chatbot assistance.
- Platform Publishing — Displaying maid profiles to prospective customers on MaidInfo.SG.
- Communications — Sending service updates, billing notices, and product announcements.
- Analytics & Improvement — Understanding usage patterns to improve the Portal.
- Legal Compliance — Meeting obligations under Singapore law.
3. Consent by Agency and Staff
By signing up, joining, or continuing to use the Portal, your agency and each of its staff members explicitly consent to:
- Maid profile data being published on the public MaidInfo.SG platform
- Profile data, documents, and chat conversations being shared with third-party AI model providers for AI-powered features
- Behavioural analytics data being collected and linked to staff identity via PostHog
- Being contacted by us via email and/or WhatsApp for service-related communications (e.g., billing, product updates, and support)
Marketing communications: We will only send marketing communications if you have separately and explicitly opted in. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your access to the Portal.
Agency administrators are responsible for informing their staff members of this Privacy Policy and obtaining their agreement before adding them to the Portal.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We share data with the following third parties:

We require all third parties with whom we share personal data to provide comparable data protection through contractual obligations (such as Data Processing Agreements). Each third party also operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. While we take steps to protect your data through contractual safeguards, we cannot guarantee the independent practices of third parties beyond these contractual requirements. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Maid Profile Data
Maid profiles uploaded to the Portal may contain sensitive personal data about third parties (domestic helpers). Agencies are responsible for ensuring they have obtained all necessary consents from the helpers whose data they upload, in accordance with Singapore's PDPA and any applicable employment regulations.
We are not liable for any breach of a helper's privacy rights arising from data uploaded by an agency without proper consent.
6. Analytics and Behaviour Tracking
We use third-party analytics tools (which may include, but are not limited to, PostHog) to understand how users interact with the Portal. These tools collect usage data including page views, feature usage, session duration, device and browser information, and IP address. When you are signed in, these tools may link your activity to your email address and name. Analytics data may be stored on infrastructure located outside Singapore (see Section 10). We do not share analytics data with partner agencies or third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Session management and authentication
- Behavioural analytics via PostHog
- Personalisation and preferences
You may manage cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Portal functionality.
8. Retention
We retain personal data for up to 5 yearsfrom the date of last interaction, or as required by law. Maid profile data is retained for the duration of your agency's active subscription plus 5 years. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 12), subject to legal retention obligations.
9. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data stored on the Portal. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach caused by a sophisticated unauthorised third-party attack that occurs despite our implementation of reasonable security measures, our liability for resulting loss shall be limited to the extent permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. We will notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) as required by law, including within the mandatory notification timelines.
10. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Our AI providers, analytics services, and cloud infrastructure may be located outside Singapore. By using the Portal, you consent to data being transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside Singapore. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where such transfers occur.
11. Do Not Track
Our Portal does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. You may opt out of PostHog analytics by managing your cookie preferences via browser settings.
12. Your PDPA Rights
You and your staff have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent to analytics or marketing communications
- Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal retention obligations

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. The revised date appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
For material changes — including changes that expand the categories of data we collect, introduce new third-party recipients, or significantly alter your rights — we will provide advance notice via email or a prominent notice on the Portal. Where required by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 or applicable law, we will seek active re-confirmation before such changes take effect.
